#422 Artistic Inspirations

Like many of you this week end at the CTN ,I had the chance to meet and talk to Mr Jean Giraud aka Moebius. It was so amazing for me to be there ,talking to somebody who is for so many of us the biggest graphic influence of all.During our discussion we talked of artists we both loved like Francois Boucq and Daniel Goossens,Goossens who is the inspiration for my post today.

Ah man!
You people get to meet cool guys!
I've never met any of my heroes, and probably never will.
Hell, I will probably never meet you either.
Moebius was a major influence on my life, not just my art. Both with Blueberry and his sci-fi. Arzak aside (still awesome), I still think the Incal is the best story ever told.
Boucq is just insane (in an amazing way) and I used to giggle and study his frames for days.
So is Goossens.
And then there's you, and Rod G. and all these other people with amazing skill, and I often feel like a peasant kid from a province.
I know I will never get there and dare to compare my work to you bunch, but I just have to keep going because I can not help myself.
Cheers to you and all the others,

Milenko
